According to me,The profession of collecting and writing about news in newspapers and magazines or talking about it on the television or radio. Journalism is the production and distribution of reports on current events based on facts and supported with proof or evidence. The word journalism applies to the occupation, as well as citizen journalists who gather and publish information based on facts and supported with proof or evidence. Journalistic media include print, television, radio, Internet, and, in the past, newsreels.

Creating a News Report to Improve Writing Skills

In this activity, students will create a news report to put their writing skills to the test. The goal of the activity is for them to research, write and share a story that communicates their message clearly and effectively. Before starting the activity, make sure students understand how to write a news report. Discuss the “five Ws and an H” of journalism: who, what, when, where, why and how. This information should be included at the beginning of the report. Then, take time to discuss the main components of a news report and write them on the board or a large sheet of paper for students to review. Each news report should include the following:

  • Headline
  • Photo
  • Byline
  • Placeline
  • Lead paragraph
  • Body paragraph
  • Quotations

  • Pencil or pen

Research is an element that is essential for a reporter. Proof without every reporter. Do not send any facts anywhere and search for him from his site or talk to the person he has written only then he shares the facts with each other. That is, reports alway trust show only news.

It is the role of the Journalism to spread information about every relevant happening in the world.
News reporters, also known as journalists, investigate, observe, interview and write news stories. Their general job duties include:

Journalism Eligibility Criteria & Skill:

  • • For Post graduate degree courses: A graduate degree in journalism.
  • • Institutes and private educational player also offer one year certificate courses in journalism for which eligibility is 10+2.

There are also courses in specialised areas of journalism like:

  3. • Photo
  4. • Press law
